Billings Man, Michael Thomas Folsom Arrested for Possession Of Meth

Billings man Michael Thomas Folsom, was arrested and charged with Possession of dangerous drugs.  According to a Court hearing, on November 1, 2016 Billings Police Officer Zachary badge #413 was traveling South bound on Main Street in the Heights. 


Traveling South bound in the lane next to Office Zachary Wallis badge#413, was a GMC Jimmy that was traveling at a slow speed. 


 According to Officer Wallis, this indicated to him that the driver did not want Officer Wallis to notice him.  Wallis ran the plate that was on the GMC Jimmy and the plate information was inactive Honda Accord.  The Plates did not match the vehicle.


Three people were in the GMC Jimmy.  The driver of the vehicle was a Billings man by the name of Nick Ruff and he stated that he had knowledge that plates belonged to another vehicle.  Another passenger was Michael Thomas Folsom Officers discovered that Folsom had an active warrant for his arrest.

Folsom was detained and taken to the YCDF center.   Detention Officers in search the person of Folsom, found a clear baggie with what appeared to be white powder.   The substance was field tested and came back positive for Meth.
