According to Billings Police Sergeant Nathan West, On Oct 5,2016, at approximately 0745 hours,Billings Police Officers responded to an injury accident at the intersection of King Ave W. and S. 36th St W.
A 40 -year-old male driving a 2007 Cadillac Deville was stopped at a stop sign at S. 36th St West.
A 1994 Honda Gold-wing motorcycle driven by a 44-year-old male was traveling west on King Ave West next to a school bus that was making a right hand turn onto 36th St West.
The driver of the Cadillac could not see the motorcycle behind the school bus and attempted to turn left onto King Ave West.
The motorcycle and Cadillac collided in the intersection, causing the driver of the Gold-wing to be thrown from the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Billings Clinic by ambulance for injuries that did not appear to be life threatening. The driver of the Cadillac was not injured, and was cited for a right of way violation.
