Burress was convicted for Partner Family Member Assault Feb 9, 2015 and the Judge in the case was Judge Russell C. Fagg in DC 14-594 case.  Burress was given a deferred sentence.  Then on March 21, 2016 his deferred sentence was revoked and he was sentenced to a suspended sentence.

Because of this, and as a result of the prior conviction Burgess was required to register as a violent offender.

Back in Sept 15, 2015 Burgess registered as a new violent offender and listed his address as 118 North 24th Street #23 located in Billings Montana.

According to the Court, Stephan Gregory Burress failed to register by not informing the Law Enforcement Officials that he had changed his address.   By law he is given (3) days to inform the authorities.   Burress did not do that.  So the violation of section 46-23-504 and 46-23-507 were in-acted against Stephan Gregory Burress.
