Shots Fired In Minot North Dakota

On September 8th at 11:28 PM, the Minot Police Department responded to a shots fired call at 2529 2nd Ave. SW in Minot. Police arriving on scene stated there was additional damage to the residence at that location since a similar call on September 2nd.


Information was obtained about a vehicle seen leaving the area after the shooting and an office spotted a vehicle matching the description within minutes of the call. At 11:42 PM officers stopped the suspect vehicle in southeast Minot. The traffic stop lead to the recovery of a 9mm handgun and the occupants of the vehicle were detained.

 

 


The investigation showed 15 more rounds were fired in last night’s incident and there were no injuries reported as a result of those shots fired. After the investigation, an occupant of the vehicle, 19 year old Antwan Alexander, was arrested for 15 counts of Reckless Endangerment (C felony). Antwan Alexander is a current resident of Minot, but also lists an address in Miami, FL. He is currently being held at Ward County Jail on the charges from the shooting incident.
