Injury Accident 16-59756
According to Sergeant Mitch Hart of the Billings Police department, on September 8, 2016 at approximately 1356 hours Billings Police Officers were dispatched to 19th Street West and Monad for a report of a multi-vehicle injury accident.
Initial investigation revealed the driver of vehicle #1 was heading westbound on Monad Road approaching the intersection of 19th Street West.
The driver of Vehicle #1 struck vehicle #2 head on which was stopped awaiting to turn Northbound onto 19th Street West.
Vehicle #1 continued, striking Vehicle #3 who was stopped directly behind vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 continued over the south curb of Monad onto the lawn of Montana Power.
Vehicle #1 made two complete circles in the lawn striking two parked cars in the employee lot until coming to rest in the middle of the lawn.
Vehicle #1 driver, adult male, Columbus resident, transported to St. Vincent’s non-life threatening injuries
Vehicle #2 driver, adult male, Billings’s resident, refused treatment on scene.
Vehicle #3 driver, adult female, Billings’s resident, refused treatment on scene.
A possible medical condition suffered by driver of vehicle #1 may have resulted in the erratic driving. Investigation is continuing.
