Mile City House fire Sunday night.  In a Phone interview with the Fire Chief Gary Warren, one man was found dead at the scene of the fire on Sunday night.

Fire investigators according to Fire Chief Gary Warren were still on the scene processing the investigation.   Deputy Fire Marshal Jerry Smith is leading the investigation.

The fire was located on the block of Knight Street and the fire call came to the department at about t 7:00 p.m. so the fire probably was initiated minutes before.

The deceased man probably died of smoke inhalation but the Coroner’s office will be the ones to determine that.

The following agencies responded, Mile City Fire, Sheriff Department, CC Rural Fire department.

Looking at the outside of the home, one would not be able to tell that there was a fire in the building.

So it’s probably safe to say that the deceased who was pronounced dead at the Mile City Holy Rosary Hospital died from smoke inhalation. But again that for the Coroner's office to determine.
