As the sexually obsessed National Education Association wrapped up its annual convention last week, many of us realized it’s high time for every American school to file for divorce.
The nation’s largest union is ruining our schools and our country, and corrupting the next generation.
The NEA and its state affiliates march in lock-step with Obama’s school agenda to usher cross-dressing students into opposite-sex facilities, while celebrating homosexual deviance among students and teachers.
At the most recent NEA national meeting, the extremism escalated. Teachers were strongly encouraged to sign pledges of support for “LGBTQ” students. In other words, they are to encourage and defend unnatural, deviant behavior in vulnerable minor children.
And any Christian teacher who signs such a pledge is taking a vow to support sinful behavior in children. Do we really think the Lord would go along with this, ever?
These are the representatives of our country’s teachers. Can someone please stop this train wreck?
At this year’s Representative Assembly, the NEA’s featured speaker on July 5 was Hillary Clinton. The union has endorsed her for president, and she told the delegates, “I’m with you.” If she is elected, America will witness accelerated union destruction of local schools as she advances the harmful NEA agenda.
And with the union’s millions of compulsory teacher-dues dollars and army of liberal volunteers, corrupt Hillary’s chances of election increase.
Keep that in mind as you review NEA’s numerous policies that support homosexuality, bisexuality, gender deviancy and abortion. Here is an overview of the 2015 NEA decisions .
This year, the NEA joined the Obama administration in active opposition to religious freedom. The union’s New Business Item A, which passed with overwhelming support, stands firmly opposed to North Carolina’s HB 2 and Mississippi’s HB 1523, both supporting gender integrity according to biological sex and allowing religious freedom. The union calls on the Department of Education to “enforce” Title IX law according to Obama’s flawed interpretation, allowing men to pose as females.
In other words, the NEA demands that Obama enforce a law that does not exist.
The same proposal encourages schools to support the Gay, Lesbian aNEAnd Straight Education Network (GLSEN) “Day of Silence,” the annual pro-homosexual event used to position sexual sin as a worthy goal and Judeo-Christian moral principles as the equivalent of “bullying.”
And the NEA passed a measure supporting school counseling that affirms “LGBTQ” identities, also giving approval to laws banning therapy for youth to overcome same-sex attractions.
NEA will also encourage schools to conduct “transgender” training for teachers and administrators according to the Teaching Transgender Toolkit.
It doesn’t get much more satanic than this. The welfare of children is being actively undermined by the nation’s largest union in alliance with the Democratic Party.
When will parents fight to stop this?
At least the teacher’s union is being consistent. Among the NEA decisions in 2015 was a blatant stand against First Amendment religious freedom.
NEA’s radicalism reverberates throughout local schools and communities, along with the increasingly aberrant actions of the Obama Department of Education Office of Civil Rights and the Department of Justice, which have become unhinged leftist tribunals.
These agencies now actively seek to investigate, distort and eliminate conservative values in school. If you would rather not have your son learn the lie that some boys are born to commit sodomy, or have your daughter shower with boys, you and/or your school may be subject to an investigation by DOJ. Just ask the parents of Minneapolis’ Anoka-Hennepin Schools, District 211 in the Chicago suburbs, or the Fairfax Schools in northern Virginia.
The number of states that have joined several lawsuits against the Obama administration over its illegitimate use of Title IX law is now up to 23. One school system in Utah is considering rejecting federal dollars for school lunches and other programs, simply to be able to regain control over the bathroom privacy, moral climate and safety of its students.
Local schools do have this option: Say no to federal funding. Of course, local taxpayers have contributed to Uncle Sam’s coffers and would be sacrificing the return of those dollars to their local communities. But that omission may be fodder for a later lawsuit.
The important issue would be the option to tell the feds under Obama (or Hillary) to go jump in the lake.
How can schools get rid of the NEA? It’s tough when some states require teacher and school staff dues that funnel directly to the Democratic-Party-controlled unions. You think this is a scam? Of course it is.
But even in states that don’t have “right to work” laws, the state and national unions have been forced by previous lawsuits to accommodate teachers who have conscientious objections. (No wonder the NEA hates religious freedom.)
In my state of Ohio, not only can individual teachers file for alternative use of their union dues under “religious accommodation,” but local schools can organize themselves and separate from the Ohio Education Association and the NEA.
Should your school become one of those?
Think about what the NEA stands for and considers a priority. Featured on the NEA website last month was a “transgender” teacher from Avon, Connecticut.
The “trans” teacher is a woman calling herself a man who disclosed her female biology to students during an inflammatory dialogue about the North Carolina H.B. 2 “bathroom” bill, which upholds gender integrity.
Regarding the North Carolina law, she told her students, “… what’s happening in North Carolina is the work of bullies who haven’t been stopped.” This kind of gender anarchist drivel is what the NEA highlights and rewards.
This teacher should be fired. But for the NEA, it doesn’t get any better than proud advocacy of depravity.
Your children will benefit from a school climate that removes destructive nonsense and returns to the serious task of teaching math, reading, literature and science.
Can schools please just stick to this?
