Another Shooting In Billings Montana

Incident: Shooting/Assault with a weapon 16-31729


According to Sgt Harley Cagle of the Billings Police Department he states that on 5/21/16 at approximately 0215 hours, Billings Police responded to the Mall at 300 S. 24th Street West for a shooting.


According to witness statements, two male suspects were walking near the intersection of Phyllis Lane/S 24th Street West.   


One of the suspects suspects pulled out a semi-auto handgun and opened fire on several people sitting in their cars in the Mall parking lot. 


Two vehicles were struck by multiple gunfire shots.


Billings Police Officers arrived in the area and arrested one male in the Western View Apts in the 2600 block of Phyllis Lane.


After a short search, a second suspect fled from police but was apprehended after a foot pursuit into Stewart Park behind the mall.


The shooter was ID as Bryan Antelope, a 23 year old Billings man was charged with multiple felonies and remanded into YCDF.


A second male who had fled from police, was transported to the hospital for injuries related to the chase. Investigation is still ongoing.
