When The Cloth Tears: Everlasting Covenant Congregation

May 20, 2016

Dear Editor

This is hard for my wife and I to write.

For centuries, humans have betrayed one another. Even Jesus Christ was betrayed.

Tacitus, a Roman Senator, said,” Men are more ready to repay an injury than a benefit because a gratitude is a burden and revenge is a pleasure.” But there is supposed to be the one safe place that you can tell all your dirty secrets, trouble and grievances to: a person of the cloth.

Your pastor, priest or rabbi is to keep your confidences and do so with moral integrity. So what do you do when they betray that confidence? Recently, a pastor's wife here in Billings, Mt discussed private counseling details with other members of the congregation.

Not only did she go into detail the contents of the counseling session, she then disclosed that the couple seeking counseling was doomed to fail since they did not have her and the pastor’s approval.

Can you imagine how that couple must have felt when they found out? Devastated, I’m sure. Proverbs 11:13 says, “A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.” (NIV). Persons of the cloth have a moral obligation to keep confidential with individuals who entrust their lives and secrets with them. In this case, the lips of the pastors have torn the veil between what is spoken in private to them and the general public.

How would you feel if your families’ struggles and problems were told to a “Pastor” who then proceeded to expose those side issues to the general public? Don’t make the mistake of trusting Pastor Steve and Evelyn Heimbichner, we trusted them and got burned.

To those still in that congregation, BEWARE!!! Like us, they sealed a covenant by dipping bread in salt, later betraying their flock, behind their back like they did us. We know of others in that congregation who they have thrown under the bus, were not the only ones they have hurt.

Another, congregation member was sent threatening emails.

Recently  Steve Heimbichner created  a fiasco in Colorado with a another church member.  So the Heimbichner's have a history that follows them where ever they go.

Pastor Steve Heimbichner is a current felon  and  his wife Pastor Evelyn is a liar based on our personal experience.
