Billings Robbery At The Zip-Trip Gas Station

DATE:          4/26/16   0500 hrs

TYPE OF INCIDENT:  Robbery

LOCATION:  10 Shiloh Rd.   Zip-Trip Gas Station

 

 

 According to the Billings Police Department, at 0504 hrs, Officers were dispatched to the report of a robbery which had occurred at the Zip-Trip gas station located near the intersection of Shiloh Rd and Central Ave. 

 

According to the Clerk on duty at the time, a male suspect entered the store and brandished a firearm demanding money from the clerk.

 

The suspect then fled on foot from the store. 

 

The clerk was the only person in the store at the time and did not suffer any injury. 

 

The suspect was described as a white male in his 30’s.  He was described as about 6 feet tall and skinny wearing a hoodie, baseball cap w/ blue jeans and covered his face with a grey bandanna. 

 

The firearm was described to be a type of rifle and was later determined that it could have been a pellet or airsoft style gun. 

 

According to Sergeant Shane Winden of the Billings Police DepartmentThe incident is still under investigation.
