Cheyenne Wyoming.--//mna press//--The Wyoming Attorney General’s Office under the orders of Wyoming Governor, Matt, Mead has asked for Wyoming Sublette County Sheriff, Stephen Haskell to be dismissed from his Sheriff position.
According to the State of Wyoming Sheriff Stephen Haskell had been charged with criminal charges that allege he was billing the County, for over $11,000 dollars for uniform purchases that he made even before he became Sheriff of Sublette County.
Upon orders from Governor Matt Mead, the Attorney General’s Office filed a petition to remove Stephen Haskell as Sheriff.
The Complaint/petition was filed in the Sublette County District Court. Haskell will be dealing with the criminal charges in District Court and now has to fight off a State Petition for removal as Sheriff.
A phone call was placed to Sheriff Stephen Haskell, but by the time of this publishing, Sheriff Haskell has not returned the Montana News Investigative reporters call.
