Subject: Information Request

Hi Kevin:

On July 9, 2009, I made a request in person to Carla Bracken, whom I was told was the information specialist
for the Yellowstone County Sheriff' Office. I followed it up with a written request. Ms. Bracken told me that she would
have the information for me the following week. Last week, Ms. Bracken left me a note at the Sheriff's Office, after
I had gone in around a dozen times to obtain the information, telling me to contact you for the information and not
providing it to me. Accordingly, kindly provide me with the following: (1) all donations made by all persons or entities
for the Linda Kapsa animals, including but not limited to cash and in-kind donations, with identification of the donor,
the amount or kind of donation and the date of donation; and (2) copies of all records of Dr. Bruner, the veterinarian
with whom Yellowstone County contracts to euthanize county animals, that relate to any euthanizations made by
him or his office for the past two years, including an identity of the animals, the date the animal was destroyed,
and the amount paid to Dr. Bruner.

As you know, the information requested is public information. It is not confidential criminal justice information
and the County has no privacy interest in it. Since I have now been waiting a month for this information, I am
anticipating that I will be receiving it from you immediately.

Thank you,
Liz Honaker
